Agios Nikolaos and Mavro Oros, with a stone lighthouse and sea cave are the closest islands, but there are also Megalo Mourtemeno and Mikro Mourtemeno, also with a sea cave to explore.

This small picturesque church is located in the island just across Parga and Kryoneri beach. That little paradise is a short-term tourist resort for unique photos and a few hours of tranquility in nature. This location is famous for the traditional celebration every August 15 when the Greek Orthodox Church celebrates the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

The river Acheron is a real miracle of nature that forms a wonderful route ending in a wild gorge at the end of the mountains of Paramythia and Souli. A gorge that in ancient mythology was believed to be the Gates of Hades. A place that can hardly be found all over Greece.The river in its path creates small puddles and lakes. The Venetian Castle was destroyed and rebuilt many times over the centuries. The beach of Lychnos is one of the most beautiful beaches around Parga. It is located in a beautiful and natural environment (within walking distance from our hotel!!). The beach consists of sand and pebbles and the sea around has clear and deep waters. It is accessible by car, motorbike, bicycle and boat. The sandy beach of Lychnos combines mountain with sea and it is surrounded by the olive groves of Parga. The above characteristics among with its clear blue and crystal waters make it the favorite beach of tourists around the area. It is fully organized with restaurants, taverns, and cafes to operate. There is no nightlife in Lychnos and for those who prefer it they should go to the center of Parga. The Necromancy of Acheron is located in the village of Mesopotamos and is the most famous oracle in the ancient world. It was dedicated to the god of the Underworld. There was a belief that its location was the main entrance to the Underworld and life after death. The ancient Greeks visited the Oracle of the Dead as they believed that the dead are the ones who can predict the future.It is built on the top of a hill and it has unique architectural charecteristics. It consists of many different types of buildings and facilities and some parts of it are famous for their acoustics,It is one of the most important historical sites in the country.

An impressive sight that should not go unnoticed is the castle of Pantokrator and it is one of the castles built by Ali Pasha after he captured the city in 1807. It is located south of the city, at a distance of about 2 km from the center, on the sea , built at the entrance of Amvrakiko gulf for strategic reasons. Its original name was Ouge-Calais.
